In an emerging market like India, All major companies and banks are using the SMS platform to send there updates and confirmations. So, the thinking was that most people in India with smartphones did not access their personal or business information from their mobile devices because of the cluttered inbox.
In 2016, We started to make the story of Mho as a company from Hyderabad. It was a wonderful run that made with many great memories and lessons.
l was the design lead for this B2C android application. I designed the app from scratch and took care of it during each face of its evolution. As we were in an initial stage, our project did not really have a significant research budget and was in a 'proof of concept' mode.
An Android app that parses through SMS and extracting structured data from unstructured text like SMS and visualizes user personal and business information in an easy to understand manner.
What data do we need to make information architecture
App onboarding in 3 simple steps
After the user installs the application on there mobile, He/She will land on an onboarding flow that helps them to understand the application in as little as 3 steps. This user onboarding process involved the creation of an account with OTP verification.
Exploring a better home screen and other categories
The home screen provides a quick summary of the different categories such as Upcoming events, financial summary, your personal messages out of spam, coupons, and offers.
Search and Filtering
As we researched, it becomes clear that a good number of users are more cared about search and filtering there past upcoming and financial transactions.
This led us to design where users can do search and filter on our application.
The good thing with some projects is that you never know where it will take you, even after you think it's over.
